WEDDINGS

We will sit down and get to know who you are and what you are looking for. We work with you to make your wedding day everything you dreamed that it would be. Whether your DJ is doing just the reception or both the ceremony and reception, we help you plan the flow of the event with my bridal planning worksheet and customize it to your specific needs. We like to coordinate with your wedding planner, photographer, and videographer to make sure everything is covered so that you don't need to worry about the details. We meet one month prior to your wedding to talk you through how a typical wedding reception flows and give you ideas about how to make your Wedding special and unique.
For ALL events request lists are always welcomed.
PRIVATE PARTIES

Whether you are having a birthday, anniversary, graduation, school dance, or holiday party, we will be more than happy to work with you to make the perfect event and exceed your expectations. Whatever your music, emceeing, and party planning needs are, we will help deliver exactly what you are looking for. All our music is family friendly so the kids can hear the music they want minus the lyrics the parents don’t want to hear.

We work with the parents and the party planner to make for the perfect event for your son or daughter's special day. We will help you plan the flow of the party with a planning worksheet and customize to your specific needs. We will coordinate with any event planners and photographers, to make sure everything is covered so you don't need to worry about the details. Choose from a variety of traditional and non-traditional music formats to suit your particular needs.
There will also be 2 request lists. The first for the parents and family members, and a separate request list will be provided for the guest of honor. Once we receive the list, we will go through it a weed out any music that is inappropriate or on the list of songs NOT to be played at events with minors.

LIGHTING
​
From simple to dramatic, New Wave Rhythm can create the dancefloor lighting atmosphere you desire for your event.

LED LIGHTING
LED use very little power, about 10% of normal lights, they can run all night long and will produce a brighter light than a conventional bulb. Another great benefit to LED lights is they run cool, so they are safe and child friendly.
PROPS
​
Don't let the props worry you! All of the DJ's are formal throughout all formalities and dinner. The crazy hats and masks don't come out until the dance floor is open to all your guests.
​
The props and the line dances are also up to you, we don't have to do any of that if you don't want us to. It's easy to ask us to tone it down, but it's not easy to get another DJ to liven it up.
LINE DANCES
​
One thing we like to do is teach line dances. Not all country line dances, we also like to teach the electric slide and the newer slides that are out there today. We try to go to annual DJ meetings to learn new line dances so we can come back and teach them to you. Line dances are fun and an easy way to get your guests on the dance floor.
